Who We Are
As Sterling District Democrats, we believe in a society and a community based on collaboration, accountability, and sustainability. We believe, quite simply, that our country and our community do better when everyone does better, and that we need to live in harmony with our environment. Our aim is to empower, educate and organize the residents of Sterling Park. First and foremost, this means mobilizing voters to get to the polls and elect Democratic candidates at all levels of government. We also hold elected officials accountable to the values and principles of our Democratic party, and to the needs of the community as a whole. As Sterling District Democrats, we support our principles, values, candidates, and concerns for our community through public advocacy, community outreach, and the endorsement process and goals of the Loudoun County Democratic Committee, which asks candidates seeking our support to pledge to put our shared values into practice.
